Article Type: Cited

Reliant Holdings Ltd of Odessa, Texas, has opened a plant in Windsor, Colorado, to capture and liquify 300 tons a day of carbon dioxide, from processes fermenting corn into ethanol.

It will capture 150 tons a day at startup but this will be scaled up to a projected 300 tons a day.

The carbon dioxide will be used to carbonate soft drinks, make dry ice, and drive oil out of underground reservoirs.
