New Saudi University to Invest in Carbon Capture Research

Saudi Arabia has announced plans to set up a new graduate research university "King Abdullah University of Science and Technology" (KAUST) which will invest money into research on carbon capture.
The preliminary budget could reach up to $1bn over 10 years, Saudi Arabia says. Research will be carried out at a campus in Saudi Arabia and at other research institutions around the world.

Woods Hole Oceanographic Institution of Massachusetts has already been announced as a research partner.
