Companies Join RCI to Develop CO2 Transport Opportunities

Anthony Veder, Vopak, Air Liquide and Gasunie have signed an agreement to contribute to the Rotterdam Climate Initiative (RCI), which aims to reduce CO2 emissions from Rotterdam by 50% by 2025. The companies will work together to facilitate the development of temporary storage of CO2 in a new transit hub and transport of CO2 to depleted gas fields in the North Sea through pipelines of by ship.
